Harborview Medical Center Pain Relief Services
The Acute Pain Service at Harborview Medical Center provides inpatient care for trauma and acute perioperative pain with an emphasis on functional recovery, goal-setting, and effective multimodal treatment. Each patient receives an individualized approach featuring evidence-based pharmacotherapy, regional anesthesia, and interdisciplinary care. We encourage complementary non-pharmacologic modalities and coordinate with appropriate specialists, including surgical teams, pediatricians, or addiction medicine specialists. Our patient care team consists of pain-trained anesthesiologists, advanced practice providers, rehabilitation psychologists, pain pharmacists, medical students, residents, and fellows.
