Educating our faculty and future providers
Education is the foundation on which we foster the next generation of providers. Residents and fellows enter their programs with a greater understanding of social and health inequities than previous generations, and our faculty have responded by tailoring educational modules around trainee needs.
Our program continues to grow as our residents move through their education. Residents can expect to learn about:
- Responding to Microaggressions Workshop for Residents
- Developing Cultural Humility
Anesthesiology Visiting Scholars Program
The Anesthesiology Visiting Scholars Program (AVSP) is a funded program designed to provide a month-long educational experience for outstanding fourth year medical students interested in Anesthesiology and who come from a broad range of those who are currently underrepresented in medicine.
Equity, diversity, and inclusion Grand Rounds
We invite experts in various fields to speak to our faculty and trainees about a range of topics that affect underrepresented communities.
