Center for Pain Relief at UW Medical Center – Roosevelt

Our team of experts at the Center for Pain Relief at UW Medical Center – Roosevelt focus on diagnosing and treating patients who experience persistent pain. We provide consultations for patients from across Washington and the Pacific Northwest and are nationally recognized as a center of clinical excellence. Our approach to pain management involves individualized treatment options including procedures guided by advanced imaging techniques (3D CT scanner, fluoroscopy, ultrasound), non-opioid medication, integrative medicine approaches, and multidisciplinary coordinated care such as training in relaxation and coping skills using pain psychology.

Treating a wide range of pain conditions

We are experts in treating complex pain resulting from a wide range of musculoskeletal and neurological pain conditions, including but not limited to:

  • back pain
  • neck pain
  • complex regional pain syndrome
  • neuropathy
  • arthritis
  • headaches
  • fibromyalgia
  • myofascial pain
  • visceral pain
  • pelvic pain

While our clinic does not manage opioid prescriptions, we provide recommendations regarding their safe and appropriate use and help our patients transition to buprenorphine products.
