UW Global Anesthesia INitiative
Mission
UW Global Anesthesia INitiative (UW-GAIN) promotes equitable care for all in need of essential anesthesia and surgical services worldwide. We will create a community that recognizes, engages, and advances global health efforts, within the University of Washington and beyond. UW-GAIN members serve as global citizens – participating, collaborating, and partnering around four domains of global health: clinical care, medical education, advocacy, and impact evaluation and research. We embrace new ideas, growth in our work, and sustainability. We welcome all interested colleagues of our department and partner organizations to contact us for more information.
