Practice Goal

Dr. Khandelwal believes in providing patients and their families with the knowledge, support and resources needed to cope with critical illness. She is dedicated to delivering patient-centered care, ensuring that the medical care she delivers matches individual patient and family values and preferences. Her clinical interests include trauma, surgical critical care and neurocritical care.

Focus

Research interests include economics of critical illness, end-of-life care, critical care outcomes and resource utilization in the ICU
