Practice Goal

To provide anesthesia care to patients with complex medical conditions because she enjoys the process of continual learning and being challenged. She provides a high quality and safe anesthetic that also incorporates the individual concerns of each patient. She strives to ensure her patients feel their concerns are heard, and they feel safe in her care.

Bio

Diana Hunt is a board-certified nurse anesthetist at UW Medical Center. She earned her BSN from San Diego State University in 1987. In 1991, she moved to Seattle, and began a nursing career at UW Medical Center in Labor and Delivery, transferring to the CTICU/5SE in 1995, and then as flight nurse with Airlift Northwest in 1998. In 2007, she began the second phase of her professional journey, earning an MSN in nurse anesthesia at University of Tennessee Health Science Center, in 2009, followed by a DNP at UTHSC again, in 2014. As a CRNA, Diana has worked in the clinical and academic settings, as an assistant professor in nurse anesthesia at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center, in Memphis, TN, and as a clinical instructor and clinical coordinator for nurse anesthesia students, medical students and dental residents. She is honored to rejoin the UW Medical Center, this time as a CRNA.
