Excellence in all aspects of clinical care, from the careful administration of anesthetics to the healthy patient to the management of care amongst the sickest and most complex patients undergoing major surgery.

Focus
Primary interests are in quality improvement, particularly as related to the intersection of technology and medicine in all its forms. From big data to clinical decision support on mobile applications, the explosion of cheap storage and computation holds great promise for discoveries that can drive improvements to quality in patient care, hospital process improvement, resident and fellow education, and healthcare operations.
