Practice Goal
Dr. Jelacic is a board-certified anesthesiologist who specializes in anesthesia care for interventional cardiology procedures, cardiac, thoracic and vascular surgeries. Dr. Jelacic believes in a team approach to patient care and is committed to compassionate and safe anesthesia care to ensure a positive experience for all patients.

Focus
Dr. Jelacic is a member of GaviaLabs (https://sites.uw.edu/gavialabs/) which conducts research with emphasis on application of computerization, technology and novel medical devices for improvement of anesthesia patient safety. GaviaLabs interests include central venous catheterization safety, drug administration safety, simulation training, computerization of perioperative checklists, computerized decision support, safety applications of computer vision and artificial intelligence, neuromuscular blockade monitoring, and anesthesia infection control measures.
