About me

With a goal to serve as a dedicated advocate and ally, Scotti is passionate about delivering patient-centered, trauma-informed anesthesia care. She is committed to providing safe, innovative, and efficient care tailored to each patient’s unique needs and experiences, ensuring comfort and support throughout surgeries and procedures.

Scotti Petersen, DNP, CRNA, is a Board-Certified Nurse Anesthetist at the University of Washington Medical Center. She earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice in Nurse Anesthesiology from Johns Hopkins University in 2024. Prior to specializing in anesthesia, Scotti worked for seven years as an ICU nurse, primarily in the Trauma-Surgical ICU at Harborview Medical Center. A proud Husky, she holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of Washington (2010), as well as a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from The George Washington University (2013).

An avid traveler and outdoor enthusiast, Scotti finds joy in exploring the breathtaking landscapes of the Pacific Northwest and beyond. On her days off, she enjoys staying active, training neighborhood dogs, writing poetry, and experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen.
