Practice Goal
I am proud to be part of the liver transplant team at the University of Washington. My mission is to provide serve as comprehensive and compassionate care for patients who require liver transplant and other complex surgeries, teaching to foster future leaders of anesthesiologists, and innovative research to advance science.

Focus
I devoted myself into the research for transplant medicine and other complex non-cardiac surgeries. Clinical research that I am engaged includes national projects to standardize the practice among all other large referral centers, outcome studies for rare disorders undergoing complex surgeries as well as local projects to understand our patients’ needs in perioperative period, to improve the outcome and the quality of care, and to promote individualized care focusing on enhancing safety and comfort in perioperative period.
